Sandy Mitchell is a full-time freelance writer based in northeast Ohio. She writes and edits the Cleveland pages for About.com, is a regular contributor to "Your Wisdom" and other Yahoo! Websites, and her work has appeared in a variety of Web and print publications, including USA Today, hotels.com, Live Life Travel, and Magohany magaine. Sandy has published two books, Cleveland's Little Italy and Cleveland's Slavic Village.

Before devoting herself full-time to writing, Sandy worked for more than 20 years in the travel industry, as a group travel manager, cruise school teacher and administrator, and vacation travel agent.
